CapShield ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use the CapShield mobile application ("App").

1. Overview

CapShield does not require account registration. We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information on our servers. All calculation data and trade journal entries are stored locally on your device only.

2. Information Collected by Third-Party SDKs

Although we do not collect personal data directly, the third-party SDKs integrated into CapShield may collect certain information automatically to provide advertising, analytics, and crash reporting services. We do not control how these third parties collect or use data — please refer to their respective privacy policies.

2.1 Advertising — Google AdMob & Mediation Partners

We use Google AdMob as our primary advertising platform, with the following mediation partners:

These advertising SDKs may collect the following to serve and optimise ads:

• Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / IDFA)
• IP address and approximate location (country/region)
• Device identifiers and model information
• App interaction and usage data
• Network and connection information

You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable tracking

2.2 Analytics — Google Analytics for Firebase

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how users interact with the App. This helps us improve features and user experience.

Data collected may include:

• App open/close and session duration
• Screen views and feature usage events
• Device type, OS version, and language
• Crash and performance data (aggregated)

Firebase Analytics data is anonymised and aggregated. No individual user profiles are created or stored by us.

2.3 Crash Reporting — Firebase Crashlytics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose app crashes so we can fix bugs and improve stability.

Data collected may include:

• Crash logs and stack traces
• Device state at the time of the crash
• Device model and OS version
• App version

Crashlytics data does not include any personally identifiable information.

2.4 Push Notifications — OneSignal

We use OneSignal to send optional push notifications (e.g. feature updates or tips). Notifications are only sent if you grant notification permission on your device.

Data collected by OneSignal may include:

• Device push token
• Device model, OS version, and language
• Notification interaction data (delivered, opened)

You can withdraw notification permission at any time through your device's Settings.

3. Data Storage

• CapShield does not operate any backend servers that store user data.
• All app data (calculations, trade journal entries, custom assets, preferences) is stored locally on your device.
• Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

4. Children's Privacy

CapShield is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through third-party SDKs embedded in our App, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Data collected by third-party SDKs is governed solely by their own privacy policies and is not accessible to us in identifiable form.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal data under applicable law (e.g. GDPR, PDPA, CCPA). Since we do not store personal data on our servers, most requests can be addressed by:

• Resetting your Advertising ID on your device
• Revoking notification permissions in device Settings
• Uninstalling the App to remove all locally stored data
• Contacting the respective third-party SDK providers directly

7. International Users

CapShield is operated from Thailand and primarily serves users in Southeast Asia. By using the App, you acknowledge that data may be processed in countries where our third-party SDK providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. For significant changes, we will provide notice via a push notification or in-app message where possible.
